Maher Garden Center - Soil Testing and Garden Information (G.I.S.T)

The James L. Maher Center Garden Center, in association with URI Master Gardeners, will offer free soil tests on the second Saturday of each month beginning on Saturday, April 12 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The event will also include a Garden Information kiosk so bring your questions and garden concerns. Sampling Instructions: Use a trowel to collect ~½ cup of soil and spread it out on a piece of newspaper or a paper plate to allow it to dry. Pour the soil into a clean labelled plastic or paper container and bring it to Maher Garden Center, 910 Aquidneck Ave., Middletown.
