Summer Saturday Series: Paper Quilling Art Workshop

Quilling, sometimes called βpaper filigree,β was invented in the Renaissance and continued to be a popular decorative technique in colonial America. It is an art-form that once used a quill pen to roll and shape strips of paper, which were then glued together to form a decorative design. Join us for this program on July 19th from 10am-4pm! During the workshop, we will learn the basic techniques of quilling and create your own small, quilled card to take home.
