Page to Stage: A 10-Minute Play Workshop for Veterans In collaboration with Good Lion Veterans and Firehouse Theatre (Richmond, VA)
We’re all storytellers. Every day, we tell stories—to each other, to our children, to ourselves. In this six-week workshop, veterans will explore the craft of storytelling for the stage, developing original 10-minute plays through writing prompts, creative table work, and collaborative discussion.
Together, we’ll form a small writers' room, studying the core elements of dramatic storytelling and drawing inspiration from film, television, music, and theatre. No previous writing experience is necessary—just a willingness to explore your voice and tell a story.
The course culminates in a staged reading of new works at Richmond’s Firehouse Theatre.
Schedule: Tuesdays 6 PM & Saturdays 10 AM
Six weeks beginning June 9
