Monthly Buckthorn Removal

Buckthorn has a tendency to hide in the early summer, so we will be focusing on other invasives this month, like garlic mustard and burdock (before it gets too big).

Please come and help remove this pesty plant. We have the loppers and gloves, bring your energy. Free fresh air and exercise. The volunteer portion of our grant-funded Restoration of Sunfish Lake Park project has done the initial clearing of 40 acres of buckthorn, replanted oaks, and native grasses, and forbs.
