Window Cliffs Night Hike

Join Ranger Willis on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 6 pm for a sunset and night hike at Window Cliffs! This hike will end around 9:30 pm. The total mileage is 5.4 miles, but there will be 18 creek crossings and significant elevation change.
Your feet will get wet, so be prepared! Since it is a timed event, there will not be enough time to stop at each crossing to change shoes. Please wear toe-covered shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
Please bring at least 64 oz of water and snacks/dinner as we watch the sunset and civil twilight from the top of Window Cliffs.
The park will provide headlamps for the event, but you are welcome to bring your own. On the way back from the Window Cliffs, it will be dark.
*** This event occurs after hours, so the entrance gate may be closed when going into Window Cliffs if you arrive early enough. A ranger should be there no later than 15 minutes before the event starts to let participants into the parking lot unless there is an emergency at the park. ***
