Sunday Group Ride

In 2025 the Ride 63 Sunday rides will be taking place roughly every second weekend between April and October. These rides are open to all club members and prospective members.
PLEASE NOTE: All dates are provisional and weather dependent so please check the Facebook Group for confirmation that these rides are actually going ahead before turning up. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1645463259084958
We regularly start & finish our rides in Lochwinnoch or Beith, sometimes at a ferry port along the Clyde coast & occasionally further afield.
Our rides usually cover 30-40 miles (maybe 50-60 as the year goes on) but we sometimes often offer a much longer day out for those who are up for a challenge. There will almost always be a hill or two to contend with. We don't race or expect you to keep up with the bunch. Our emphasis is on sociable fun not performance so we operate a βno dropβ policy & aim to enjoy at least one cake stop en-route. For our local rides we might have two groups of riders catering for different fitness levels but there is not hard and fast rule so please be prepared to be flexible.
Prospective members are very welcome at any time of the year but please contact us before joining one of our rides. We expect you to be competent at riding on public roads & hope that you can take care of basic things like fixing a puncture but we are very supportive and aim to help you improve as cyclists while having fun.
If you are not sure if your fitness is up taking part in these weekend rides then our Tuesday & Thursday evening rides would be a better place to start. They cater for a wider range of fitness & experience so are a ideal for new members to joining us for the first time. If in doubt, please ask!
