Exertional heat stroke continues to be one of the leading causes of death in young athletes even though death from EHS is preventable with proper recognition and treatment. The purpose of this presentation is to provide clinicians in the secondary school setting with latest evidence-based recommendations on the prevention, recognition and managements of EHIs.
