Monthly meeting of the Cortez Silent Book Club.
An opportunity to be as social as you like or not social at all - whatever suits your comfort level. Connect with other readers, add to your long list of to-be-read books for 2025, and/or exchange books you’ve read. There will be 30 minutes of time at the beginning and at the end of the silent reading hour when you can mingle with other readers.
Arrive: 6pm - get a beverage, find a seat and mingle (or not)
Read in Silence: 6:30-7:30
Mingle and/or discuss what you've been reading: 7:30-8pm
Note: nobody has to read the same book
There will be an open table to drop off books you’ve read and would like to pass on and to pick up anything you’d like to read. We also host over a dozen local authors, so consider purchasing a book as well!
