In the “Herbs in the Eighteenth-Century” presentation, Carolyn Murphy portrays Miss Annabella M. Snead, a former indentured servant to the Annapolis Town Baker. Annabella works as a baker in the day but in the evenings administers herbal potions, possets, and plasters to local townspeople who would rather visit her than doctors. She will cover types of herbs used for healing as well as cooking and coloring fabric. Free. No registration required.
