You’re warmly invited to the opening concert of our Summer Residency 2025 in Treowen Manor. The evening starts with Florens Quartet performing Grażyna Bacewicz’s String Quartet No. 4—a dynamic, rhythmically driven piece showcasing her distinctive Polish voice. The Elgar Ensemble returns this year with a new line-up of players and performing Rebecca Clarke’s deeply lyrical Piano Trio; a richly textured and emotionally nuanced work that blends Impressionist-style colour with Romantic intensity. The evening finishes with a tutors performance of Brahms’ Piano Quartet in G minor; a passionate and dramatic favourite, bursting with stormy fervour and tender lyricism.
