Introducing the first ever Falkirk Schools MTB Championships!
Whether you're a seasoned racer, love riding your bike but have never raced before, or are just a competitive individual wanting to try something new - this inaugural event is the place for you!
Taking place at the Callendar Estate Cycle Trails just outside Falkirk on Friday 22nd August, this event will take place on mostly blue graded trails, ensuring that everyone can have an enjoyable and fun racing experience.
You must attend a school in the Falkirk Council area - you will be asked to state your school when you sign up.
Four race categories:
P4-P5
P6-P7
S1-S3
S4-S6
1630-1715 - Sign On and Practice P4-P7
1730-1745 - P4-P5 - 15 mins
1755-1815 - P6-P7 - 20 mins
1820-1840 - Practice S1-S6
1850-1915 - S1-S3 - 25 mins
1930-2000 - S4-S6 - 30 mins
Number dependent. We will aim to recognise overall podiums for each race, and then the top rider for each year group (boys and girls).
Finally we will recognise the winning school (Primary and Secondary), which will be the one with the highest cumulative total of points (with higher points awarded for top finishing).
