Discover nature's wild food secrets on a foraging course with forager-herbalist Fred Gillam from The Wild Side of Life.
Walk through the Avebury landscape and learn to identify and use the plants and fungi growing in our hedgerows, fields and woods.
Fred has 35 years of foraging experience. He has featured on ITV's Countrywise, For the Love of Britain presented by Dame Julie Walters, and on Radio 2's Jeremy Vine. He is a regular contributor on BBC local radio and is the author of 'Poisonous Plants in Great Britain'.
Please wear clothing suitable for a walk. Fred will stop during the walk for a light picnic lunch; please bring your own. Later in the day there will be a chance to sample some foraged canapes and liqueurs.
