These mornings give you some space; to set aside time for slowing down, for taking a breath (we'll use our breath in lots of different ways) and learn simple practices to lower your stress levels and recharge your batteries.
Spending time in nature is so very important for our mental, emotional, physical,& I would add spiritual, wellbeing. It always makes me feel better. So while we have our cosy little hall to retreat to, we will spend some times outside, practicing mindfulness and forest bathing while we gently walk in the woods of Cannock Chase.
We will almost always practice a technique from one of these: gentle movement, qigong or yoga, meditation, mindfulness and breathwork, and always a guided relaxation to end. This is not a yoga day so any movements will be very slow and gentle.
I like to ensure these mornings are open to everyone, so the cost is just £15 and includes hot drinks and home-made cake.
