Recycled Book Art @ Bennett Martin Public Library

Join us this summer and let your creativity flourish! Turn old books into new pieces of art by folding, cutting, tearing, and painting: the possibilities are endless! We will provide a variety of supplies, books to be recycled, and ideas available for inspiration. We will be collecting the art through the Summer Reading Challenge at the end of July and showcase them at the libraries in August! Don't have the capacity to attend one of the in-person events? Ask about recycled books that you can take home to creatively remake yourself. Bring your finished product back to a library for participation in the art show. The art will be available for pickup after the showcase.
