Delve deep into the UK's grassroots music scene this summer at the Dover Summer Series, a programme of events in partnership with Arts Council England.

Desire Lines - Alternative band Desire Lines formed in Canterbury in 2022. Taking fuzz fuelled Post Grunge and infusing it with elements of Post Punk, Doom and Art Rock, they use wide dynamics to swing from unapologetically big sounds to delicate melodies and poetic lyricism.

Bones Ate Arfa -Bones Ate Arfa are a UK psychedelic street punk/desert rock three piece, made up of Bones (guitar), 8 (drums), and Arfa (vocals & bass). Once described as “Junkyard dog riffs” after the release of their debut single ‘Asbestos’, they have since gained recognition online and in person from Artists such as Muse, Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Isaac Holman (SOFT PLAY), Royal Blood, Tigercub, cool sorcery, Demob Happy, and Bad Nerves. While attaining a respectable following on social media, they have received spins and features on Clash Magazine, BBC Radio 6, Radio X, Dork, Earmilk, Louder Than War, and have successfully burned their stamp into the UK’s southern gig circuit, all in under two years.

Polo Lounge - Hailing from Kent, Polo Lounge are a high-energy indie-rock outfit blending post-punk urgency with danceable grooves and razor-sharp guitars. In just six months, they’ve racked up BBC Introducing features and built an undeniable buzz.
