Have you always wanted to learn how to knit socks? Now is your chance! This 2-part class takes you step-by-step through a cuff-down sock, from turning the heel to grafting the toe. At the end of class, you will have worked a complete baby sock. Basic sock pattern and full instructions are included with the class, so you can make socks for anyone with any sock yarn!

Dates: Saturday, July 26 1-3pm
Saturday, August 2 1-3pm

Prerequisites: Knitting and purling small circumferences in the round with Magic Loop, two circulars or dpns.

Materials; 200 yards of a smooth, light-colored worsted weight yarn, needles to work at a medium gauge in stockinette in the round, stitch markers, basic knitting tools.

About the Instructor: Sarah Walworth is an author, knitting pattern editor, and industry community leader. She first learned to knit as a child from her mom, but re-learned as an adult when she needed a way to keep her hands busy. It quickly cascaded into re-writing patterns to fit her, learning innovative techniques, and trying all different ways to tension the yarn. She loves to pass on the craft to whomever she can get to hold needles and yarn for a few minutes. You can find her at www.sarahwalworth.com, as @tricotedit on social media, and via email at dHJpY290ZWRpdCB8IGdtYWlsICEgY29t.
