“Raising our roots - Bruxelles à travers onze ogen” Official opening party!

Join us for the official opening party of our first temporary exhibition, created by a group of 18-26 year olds from different neighbourhoods around Brussels who came together to explore ✨who✨ is represented in history, how, and why, and what this means to young people today.

The evening will go as follows:

✨18.00 Guests arrive, food and drinks available to purchase
✨18.00- 21.00 visit the exhibition 'Raising our roots'
✨18.30 (sharp) official opening by the Echoes collectives, including a few welcoming words!
✨19.00 Music by the incredible DJ Bea
✨20.00 Concert by Adam La Nuit
✨21.00 home time! (or continue the party elsewhere 👀)


🤝This exhibition is presented in an audio-visual setting which recreates the atmosphere of the city, from its metro, parks, and people’s homes, the stories told in “Raising our roots” contrast European history as shown in the museum, with intimate realities from Brussels and narratives on migration throughout time.

🖼Visitors will experience the in-between-ness of the ever-changing city that is Brussels!
