APOLLO RAY
London based multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Louis (Ray) Pavlo creates cinematic, dynamic and emotionally resonant music that transports the listener to a surreal yet strangely familiar realm.
Drawing inspiration from the ethereal ambiance of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks, Pavlo has channelled the spirit of Angelo Badalamenti’s evocative compositions to create a sense of haunting familiarity and ineffective yearning throughout his debut LP “In Orbit”. With this foundation firmly in place, he weaves a tapestry of influences spanning Stereolab’s avant-garde textures, the cosmic symphonies of Brian Wilson’s Pet Sounds and the chameleonic artistry of David Bowie.
LANCIER
Canterbury based troubadour Liam has enjoyed significant success with his previous band Syd Arthur – but has now returned (under the name Lancier), with powerful set of new songs.
An exceptionally gifted guitar player and performer, his work evokes the Canterbury greats such as The Soft Machine and Caravan, but with a steely 21st Century vision.
