Come and learn how to create traditional African village artefacts using clay, in this fun creative session led by MayaLu.
In this session you will learn about different artefacts that are typically found in a Xhosa village, which is where life began for MayaLu. You will then have the opportunity to make your own artefacts using the examples provided.
These sessions offer an interesting insight into authentic village life from the most undeveloped parts of South Africa; an opportunity to immerse yourself in multiculturalism and history.
Suitable for ages 16+. All materials and expert tuition provided.
Please bring suitable clothing for the weather conditions as this event is outdoors and the bandstand can get chilly, even in summer!
