Every month during the year, we have Homeschool Days! Explore the natural world in Iron Hill Museum & Science Center’s homeschool classes for individual families. Students ages 5-18 from the homeschool community can attend sessions designed to complement homeschool science curriculums and make homeschooling more convenient, interactive, and engaging for your family. You can register by clicking on the interested month below.
Homeschool classes meet on certain week days each month. Please check dates and times on the registration page for each month. Admission is $3 per person. Registration is required for these classes.
Each class runs from 10:30am until 11:30am.
July 17th & 25th- The World of Invasives
In the natural world, there are plants and animals that belong regularly to our area, and then some that have been introduced from different parts of the world. Some of the introduced plants or animals can be helpful, but there are times when having them around is a really bad idea. It's time we figure out if those animals and plants are beneficial helpers or pests.
