Here is where you really earn the difference between black tea from a teabag and the magnificent single origin loose leaf teas from China, Sri Lanka, Africa and India. We may even have our Taiwanese Black tea back for this class!
In this session, we'll explore how black tea is made and its history (legend has it that it was a mistake!). You'll try different flushes of the same tea and learn how terroir (love that wine term!) impacts a tea's flavor and complexity. In the course of our time together we will taste and contrast 8-10 different black teas from all over the world.
