Summer Special Tour Series: Attics and Basements

Have you ever wanted a chance to go behind the scenes at Canterbury Shaker Village? Who doesn’t like exploring the hidden treasures of an attic or basement? Join Director of Interpretation and Education Kyle Sandler as he explores some of the most interesting “off-limits” spaces while discussing the important role that attics and basement played in the daily life of the Village.

Participants should be prepared to ascend and descend several flights of historic stairs. Please wear safe and comfortable walking shoes.

Registration required: $15 (members); $30 (non-members). Special tour registration includes regular Village admission.
