The International Space Hall of Fame Foundation is pleased to announce that the City of Alamogordo has chosen the grounds of the New Mexico Museum of Space History for this yearβs July 4th drone show, building on more than 45 years of tradition.
The museum grounds provide a prime viewing location for the show and it is expected to be visible throughout the city. Museum members have the exclusive opportunity of viewing the show from the grounds of the museum and this year, tailgating is back! Museum members simply show their membership card at the gate and are granted access to the grounds.
Members can bring as many guests as fit in their car. Each vehicle will get two parking spaces, one for the car and one for the tailgate. Charcoal or woodfired grills are not allowed for safety reasons. Pets, other than service animals, are not allowed. The gates will open at 6:00 pm for members, with onsite registration available. Renewing or purchasing a membership is as easy as logging on to www.spacehalloffame.org or visiting the gift shop inside the museum.
Choreographed music for the show will be provided by Burt Broadcasting on KZZX 105.3 FM. Burt Broadcasting has been broadcasting music for the show for more than 25 years.
