7th Annual Back Yard Bouquet Contest

Do you or someone you know have a yard full of lovely flowers and like making bouquets? Then please share their beauty! We promise this will be a fun event for you! This contest is for non-professionals only, adults and children. We have 2 divisions. 17 and older and age 16 and under. Find a plain Jane vase or an an interesting container, make a bouquet and bring your handmade creation of flowers to the Garden City Straight Farmhouse historical museum located at 6221 Merriman Road on Saturday July 12th from 8am to 10am. Bouquets will be voted on by the public during the garden walk and by local florists. Prizes will be awarded at 3:30pm. Flowers for bouquets cannot be purchased and must have been grown in a local yard.
