Begin Your Adventure: Learn to Play Dungeons & Dragons

Have you ever wanted to play Dungeons & Dragons but didn’t know where to start? Join us for a Learn to Play campaign using Critical Role: Call of the Netherdeep, a rich, beginner-friendly adventure filled with mystery, magic, and heroic choices. This program is designed for adults and young adults with little or no experience playing D&D. We’ll guide you through everything from the basics of roleplaying and rolling dice to understanding character sheets and storytelling mechanics. All materials will be provided, including blank character sheets, dice, laptops, and sourcebooks. Players are also encouraged to create a free D&D Beyond account to manage their character online and access digital tools. Whether you’re curious, creative, or just ready to roll, your first adventure awaits!

This program is for ages 16+ and will take place in the library's Business Center. Registration is required, and players of all experience levels are welcome. Register by visiting oakcreeklibrary.org/events or over the phone by calling 414-766-7900.
