Morristown Regional Airport, Terminal Building
Open to Youth ages 12 and older
Prerequisites: None
Class Size: Limited to 11 attendees
Instructor: Bob Dilk, CFII
This workshop, focused on electricity and electrical circuits will take concepts learned in previous electrical circuits workshops to more advanced levels.
However, attendance at a prior workshop is not a requirement.
Background: There are a variety of knowledge topics that will help a pilot or mechanic understand aircraft systems. A basic understanding of magnetism, conductivity and electrical circuits is important not only for working on aircraft, but also many aspects of our daily life.
In this workshop, you will perform hands on activities that will include building and testing a variety of circuits as well as use of an oscilloscope.
As part of the workshop hands on activities, each participant will build a working am radio to take home.
It will be an awesome learning experience!
