Welcome back AnnaLee and the Lucky So & Sos to the Bandstand on Wednesday, August 27 at 7:00 pm! A popular Kansas City-based swing band, they celebrate the very best of Kansas City sound from the 1930s, 40s, and 50s, the heyday of KC-style jazz, swing, and jump blues. Their repertoire includes Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, Julia Lee, Louie Jordan, and so many more, along with their own original tunes.
BONUS: The Kansas City Canaries will join us for an authentic chorus girl performance! Admission is FREE, and bottled water and snacks are provided. Leashed and well-behaved dogs are allowed. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs, and limited bench and picnic table seating is available. Entrance at 11501 W 57th Street, Shawnee, KS 66203.
