Being present in the moment and letting go of all external influences and expectations allows the artist to express feelings or thoughts which are buried deep within oneβs own subconscious or pull external vibrations or energies from the universe. Participation in this workshop is meant to be fun employing music and dance. The workshop is also meant to be rewarding in that one may become consciously aware of something which was not acknowledged.
GARY GIORDANO is a resident JuxtaHub artist who was born in Trenton, New Jersey and raised in Yardley, Pennsylvania. His early influences were impressionism, modernism, and abstraction, which he was exposed to at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and The Barnes Museum.
Gary has had studios and a practice of painting in Lambertville New Jersey, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Bushwick, Brooklyn. He has produced and sold a large body of work held in both private collections, institutions, and public space and has participated in over fifty exhibitions and had several solo shows. As a gallerist Giordano has represented over thirty artists and has participated in artist talks, lectures and workshops held in galleries, schools and universities.
