Learn resourceful skills this July in Whakatū Nelson! We’re excited to be bringing two new workshops to town — rag rug and patchwork — alongside returning favourites including brush making, darning, drop spindle, and wreath making.

With felt bowls already sold out and other workshops filling fast, now’s the time to book your spot!

📅 26–27 July | Fairfield House, Whakatū Nelson

Join our talented craftspeople — Annie Mackenzie, Gemma Stratton, and Mirabel Oliver — for a weekend of hands-on learning. With 9 individually bookable workshops, come along for one or for many.

Resourceful Craft 2025 is a programme of craft workshops teaching resourceful skills for the wellbeing of people and planet. We want to share traditional craft practices that will provide you with new skills and a new relationship with local materials and the resources that are around you.
