It’s been 35 years since the Kanehsatake Resistance, also known as the Oka Crisis, began on July 11th 1990, and to commemorate this important event in history, we will be hosting a two-part film screening of 'Kanehsatake: 270 Years of Resistance', and 'Rocks at Whiskey Trench', both by Alanis Obomsawin.
