Artalatte is a mixed media artist from Wantagh, NY. She began creating her mixed media paintings in 2018. Since focusing on exhibiting her work, she has been invited to show in numerous juried and non-juried exhibitions across the United States.
Artalatte’s artistic style is a compelling collage of iconography, silhouettes, and symbolism, blending acrylic paint, found objects, watercolor, and neo-pastels. Her works evolve into intricate portraits that reference biblical themes, pop culture, and historical narratives. Each piece offers a personal perspective on social and cultural issues, employing a consistent methodology while exploring diverse themes and materials.
The artist also describes her approach as “Intuitive Art.” She believes that a spiritual force guides her creative decisions, and her paintings emerge organically rather than through predetermined planning. When creating, Artalatte experiences a state of transcendental meditation—losing track of time while feeling simultaneously focused, powerful, and unstoppable.
