Mozzarella Making Workshop

Learn how to make your very own cheese, starting with fresh, local milk and ending with mozzarella. The class will begin with the culturing of the milk, discussing the theory and history of cheesemaking along the way. Once the milk is ready to be manipulated, we will demonstrate the techniques necessary to create a fabulous cheese. Artisan cheese is less about recipes, and more about the small details that will bring your cheese to the next level.

All classes are taught by renowned local cheesemaker, Luca Mignogna, of Mozz Newport. Open to resort guests and the public!
