a 3-week series in June

Hardship and suffering is something that we all experience. We do not like the painful feelings associated with hardship, but Buddha encourages us to respond to difficulties in a different way; we can learn to respond with patience. This has so many benefits including deepening and strengthening our experience of inner peace and our ability to develop love and compassion.
In particular, through contemplation and meditation we can overcome the problem of anger, learning how to develop and maintain patience when faced with even the most difficult circumstances.

Each class presents a new topic with new contemplations and meditations for our training in overcoming anger and developing patience.

Topics include:
What is patience?
The benefits of patience
A spiritual response to hardship
Learning from our suffering
