Follow these 4 simple steps to create a one-of-a-kind table topper.
You will want one for every season, holiday and special occasion.
Patterns and instructions will be provided with the class.
Finished table topper is approximately 16” x 16”.
This is a BEGINNER level sewing class, so do not worry if you are just starting. If you are a seasoned sewist, you’ll have fun learning a few new tricks.
Items needed:
Sewing Machine that does both a straight stitch. Don’t have a machine? Don’t worry! When signing up for the class, please select “I Need to Borrow a Machine” and we will have one set up for you.
Walking foot, top stitch and general-purpose foot
12x different coordination fabrics (design &/or solid) 8” x 8” squares
1x 8 ½” x 8 ½” coordinating solid fabric for center square
1x 22” x 22” coordinating fabric for back and border
1x 17” x 17” batting
Iron and ironing surface
Sharp rotary cutter, straight cutting edge, cutting mat
Orange pop ruler or rotating cutting mat
Coordinating color sewing thread with 2 bobbins filled
Sewing tools (scissors, clips or pins, stiletto or purple thang, seam ripper)
