Medallion Quilt Class with Kim Z.

These Medallion quilts are a great 2nd or 3rd quilt for a beginner. They start with a Star block in the center and are then surrounded by frames of blocks. They include all the classic block pieces: 4-Patches, Half-Square Triangles, Quarter-Square Triangles, Square-in-a-Square, Flying Geese, and Pinwheels. This quilt will help you practice your piecing skills. This is NOT a learn to quilt class. With some homework you should be able to get your quilt top completed in the 3 sessions.

Pick a focus fabric, background, and 3 or 4 coordinating fabrics to make any of the 5 samples. There are 2 different Star blocks in the center and the frames are varied, so you can pick your favorite. Your quilt can be a 56” square or a 56” X 72” rectangle.
