The Lagoon is your midweek summer escape for great live music, food and fun 🎶
Located at the scenic Lagoon at Colorado State University, the free Lagoon Summer Concert Series is a staple of the Northern Colorado music scene and is the place to be Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., June 11 through July 23.
Select nights will feature youth openers from 6:00 p.m. – 6:20 p.m. From theme nights to delicious food trucks, interactive booths and giveaways there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The Reminders are a rare and remarkable musical trio seamlessly blending soulful sounds and roots music with insightful messages and thoughtful lyrics. The group consists of Brussels-born emcee Big Samir and Queens-born emcee/ vocalist Aja Black, a collective creative force that’s hard to beat. Big Samir weaves intricate rhythmic patterns with a bilingual French/English flow, displaying his street smart credibility in both his lyrics and cool demeanor. This is beautifully complimented by Aja Black’s confident delivery, diverse cadences, and unique vocal stylings.
