The Folk Art Lecture Series: The Works of Eddy Mumma

Join us as Folk Art educator and artist Turbado Marabou examines several works of arts that were installed at the museum using the City of Gainesville’s permanent collection of folk art by local artists Alyne Harris, Jessie Aaron, Eddy Muma and Turbado's art.

The monthly lectures will deepen your understanding of each artist and their contribution to folk art traditions within the Southern experience and how folk art practices assist the community to hold collective memory.
