Workshop for teachers of the Alexander Technique with Irmel Weber

In this workshop we will focus on our hands-on abilities. We will find variations of putting hands on in our classical chair and table work, and in teaching Alexander’s procedures. I would like to introduce what my teacher called "staying back", which is described in Freedom to Change by Frank Pierce Jones, in the paragraph Reflex Responses. We will look at how we can, through hand contact, support our pupils in their daily activities.
