Ford vs Chevy vs Everything Else

What are we doing? Where are we going? Why do we have to meet so early? Where in Buccee’s parking lot are we meeting? Is this show worth attending? What do I bring with me?
Did I forget anything?
Here’s the thing, if you know what I mean 😝 Anyone who follows my post regarding auto enthusiasts events knows I LOVE benefit shows! This show is right at the top of my list!
I was broken hearted, when earlier in the year, they had announced that this event wasn’t going to happen due to sponsorship issues. I got notified on Friday, May 16th, that’s it’s back on and they added a class!!! I’m so ecstatic!!!
What a fabulously fun show!!! For 10+ years, they’ve held this event, Battle on Elm, to benefit a scholarship fund for area students and it has grown.
Ed Morse clears his Chevy dealership lot on one side of Elm St and his Ford lot on the opposite side and the cars pile in. Last year Chevy won with the most registered, will it be the same out come this year?
So…. Like any event, I encourage folks to cruise in as groups, it makes one hell of an impression 🥸😎😎😎😎 Anyone near Springfield MO that would like to cruise in with me, meet me at Buccee’s, 745-8am in the parking lot closest to to the entrance. You can’t miss me-1988 White sparkly Camaro 🤣🤣🤣 We will leave out of Buccee’s at 815, sharp! This should give you time to grab anything you may have forgotten.
We will cruise up I44 to the first Lebanon exit and pull into Ed Morse parking lots.
Have fun! Enjoy yourselves! Enjoy the atmosphere! If you don’t like the food trucks they bring in, the fast food places are extra close.
Come on! LETS GO!!!
Don’t forget your sunscreen, phone chargers, pop-ups (WITH WEIGHTS!!), chairs and CASH!!!!
