Join Nottingham Green Guardians, and the Friends of King Edward park for an improvement event.
This Day of Action is to spruce up the park for the enjoyment of users, and to keep on top of some maintenance to support the Friends and their amazing work as volunteers in this wonderful community park.
We'll be tackling some of the weeds, pruning shrubs, litter picking, adding bird boxes, painting bins and more.
Light refreshments will be provided, we encourage you to wear sturdy footwear, and bring a packed lunch if staying all day.
This is a drop in event, so even if you can only spare an hour, we would love for you to come along.
Not only will this improve the park, but you'll be able to socialise with other keen volunteers, get some exercise, benefit the local community and wildlife.
