CALLING ALL FOLKLORISTS!

Join Alternative Ulstours' 'Master of the Macabre' Andrew Johnston for an illustrated Terror Talk on the creepy cast of creatures in Irish mythology.

Andrew will follow an ancient tradition of storytelling, recalling legendary beasts that have struck horror for thousands of years. Infamous entities such as the Banshee, the Leprechaun and the Morrigan will emerge from the otherworld, alongside the awful likes of the PΓΊca, the Dullahan and the Fear Gorta.

The night will detail shapeshifting fairies, soul-hunting demons and foretellers of death that have bedevilled for millennia.

The talk will also explore how these fabled bogeymen have acted as warnings for children, or evoked people's hopes, fears and desires.

So, come along to the iconic Sunflower Public House, buy a drink, pull up a seat and let Andrew guide you through Ireland's own menagerie of monsters!
