2026 Sioux Falls Open Martial Arts Tournament

For over 15 years now, DMA has hosted this event with past tournaments including students from Taekwondo, Jujitsu, Judo, Karate, Kung-Fu, Capoeira, BJJ, Kendo, American Kickboxing, and many other styles from around the region. Over the years, this event has grown to be one of the largest tournaments in the region. Events this year include: Grappling, Sparring, Traditional Forms, Creative Forms, Weapons Forms, Sport Jujitsu, and Padded Sword.

This year we will also require pre-registration to ensure a smooth tournament. We will also be using a digital registration and tracking system this year. If you have questions about our tournament please do not hesitate to contact Joe Herreman, Head Instructor of DMA of Sioux Falls.

Pricing:
Early Bird Pricing - $40 per competitor plus $5 per event -
Available until March 1st

Normal Registration Pricing - $45 per competitor plus $10 per event - March 1 - April 15th

Late Registration Pricing - $55 per competitor plus $15 per event - April 15 - April 22 at 5:00 P.M​

Spectators - $5 per person or $20 per family each day. Available at the door.

8:30 A.M. - Doors open
9:30 A.M. - Grappling Begins
10:00 - Judges & Instructors Meeting
10:30- Opening Ceremony
10:45 - Karate Events Begin
10:45 - Self Defense Application All Rings
11:15 - Kids divisions begin

This year we will be running all of one age groups events in one ring before moving on to the next group of competitors. Hopefully this will allow the event to run a little faster and allow our younger competitors to go home sooner in the day.
