Please take advantage of these days to help beautify our city
and utilize the service to dispose of unwanted junk.
Drop-Off: City residents may drop-off unwanted items in
the dumpsters that will be located at the Hallock City Shop
on Tuesday, June 24 and Thursday, June 26, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Batteries, appliances, paint, chemicals, florescent lights, balasts, tires and yard clippings/branches WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Dumpsters will be monitored to ensure unauthorized items
are not dumped. There is no cost to residents for this service.
Please do not put regular household garbage in dumpsters.
Orange bags may be purchased at Gullander Hardware for pickup at your residence.
Appliance Pickup: City crews will be picking up appliances ONLY with prepaid stickers on residential curbs on the resident's scheduled garbage pickup day. (Ex: if your garbage pickup day is Tuesday, your appliance pickup day is also Tuesday).
The cost for appliance pickup is $5 per appliance and $7 per monitor/TV.
**Stickers must be purchased by noon on Friday, June 20 in the City office.**
Please do not leave other unwanted items on your curb. They will not be picked up.
