Let’s kick things old school with a good old fashioned points limit and the classic scenario for Warhammer Fantasy Battle 6th edition in a good old fashioned tournament where friendships are won and grudges formed on the field of battle!

Date: 16th August
Location: Rebel Base Gaming, Martin, Macclesfield, SK11 9HF
Maximum Players: 14
Event Cost: £10 Per Person (any additional funds after the hiring hall costs will be attributed to the prize pool)

Please note in the event that you need to drop out, refunds will only be given up to June 30th. After that I will have to pay the hiring fee so unfortunately I will be unable to offer refunds after this. You can however sell your ticket on so we can reallocate your space.

To sign up please message me and I will send details of payment which will be made via PayPal.

After that I will also add you to a group chat so you can keep informed of updates, request grudge matches, belittle and abuse fellow generals or share your army painting progress.

Getting to the Event:

Public Transport options are very limited with the closest train stations being either Congleton or Macclesfield, therefore the best way to get to Rebel Base is via Car postcode for SatNavs is SK11 9HF with the nearest motorway junction being J17 of the M6 but this is of course dependent on which way you are coming from.

Parking:

Parking is free all day, the only request is that you park at the rear of the building rather than the front as this is reserved for the Cafe customers.

Lunch:

Lunch will not be provided, however there is a Cafe next door where you can order lunch / drinks and they can be bought into the gaming center for you. The alternative recommendation is to bring your own as the Cafe will close before the event ends (and why we have a few breaks baked in to allow people to grab snacks and drinks in between).
The toilets are also located in the Cafe.

Army List Construction:

- 2000pt Armies to be chosen.
- No special characters (armies that require a special character to run such as the zombie pirates are an exception to this).
- Back of the book lists are allowed.
- Storm of Chaos Lists are allowed.
- Ravening Hordes Lists are allowed with the exception of chaos daemons (seriously, it makes the Daemonic Legion from Storm of Chaos look tame)
- Army lists from White Dwarf, Citadel Journal, or any other GW publication may be used with the TO’s review and approval.
- Dogs of War and Regiments of Renown Choices are allowed to any army that may choose them.
- Units from other publications may be used with TO approval (e.g., additional goblin races or the Rat Tank).
- Power Dice are capped at 10 per turn, including items that store dice (such as the black periapt and the extra dice it can store is included in your maximum total).
- Bound spell items count as 1 Power Dice for the cap.

The Games:

All games will be played using the pitched Battle Scenario as per scenario one in the Warhammer Fantasy 6th edition Rulebook using victory points as per the Rulebook to determine the winner, however the scenario has the following changes:
- Wood Elves do not get their free wood (let's all be honest they are good enough anyway).

Event Timings:

9:30 - Intro and briefing
9:45 - 12:00 Game 1
12:00 - 12:45 Lunch
12:45 - 3:00 Game 2

Winning the Event:

Use victory points each game to determine the outcome of the game as per the victory points chart in the Warhammer Fantasy Rulebook. Keep a note of your victory points.
After this you will attain a battle point score
5pts - Win
3pts - Draw
1pt - Loss
Your battle points will be added up at the end of the event to determine your placing and the overall winner and your total victory points will be used in the event of tie breakers.

Prizes For:

- 1st
- 2nd
- 3rd
- Best Painted
- Wooden Spoon (spoon)
- Wackiest Army List

As this event allows some of the more esoteric choices in the 6th edition back catalogue, the TO and a group of nominated members will vote on that player that embraces some of the weirder elements of the 6th edition back catalogue to produce an army that is truly unique.
