Born in Belgium, Björn was the lead singer in the hugely successful group Boysband (with 7 top ten hit songs and winner of the Zomerhit Award for Best Dutch Song) before performing as Sky in Mamma Mia!, Link in Hairspray, Khashoggi in We Will Rock You, Tony in Saturday Night Fever and the company of Smokey Joe’s Café.

Björn has competed three times in the Belgian and San Marino National selections for the Eurovision Song Contest. He has lived in Sitges since 2009.
