Starting from the iconic Cronin’s Yard, we’ll follow the rugged trail through the Hag’s Glen before tackling the famous Devil’s Ladder—a steep and rocky ascent to the summit.

With stunning panoramic views (weather permitting) across the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks and surrounding peaks, this hike is an unforgettable experience for anyone looking to conquer Ireland’s highest point. Our descent follows the safer and more gradual Zig-Zags route, allowing time to take in the views and reflect on your achievement.

⚠️ Who is this hike for?

This guided hike is suitable for those with a good level of fitness and previous hiking experience. The Devil’s Ladder is steep, rocky, and can be slippery. You must be confident on uneven terrain and prepared for variable mountain weather.

🎒 What to Bring: Sturdy hiking boots (essential – no runners/trainers)

Waterproof jacket and trousers Warm hiking layers (fleece, thermal top, hat, gloves)

Snacks, lunch, and 1.5L of water minimum

Any required personal medication

Sunscreen and sunglasses (weather dependent)
