Voices From the Past
Thursday, July 10 • 6:00 p.m.
Riverview Cemetery, Algona

Step back in time and witness history come alive during this free, one-of-a-kind evening presentation at Riverview Cemetery. "Voices From the Past" features costumed portrayals of early Algona settlers—real-life residents of the cemetery—who share the stories of their lives, hardships, and contributions to our community’s beginnings.

As you walk through different areas of the cemetery, you’ll meet these historical figures and hear firsthand accounts of Algona’s past in their own words. Bring a lawn chair and settle in to enjoy this immersive and moving experience.

Refreshments will be served following the program, courtesy of the Founders' Day Committee.

Can’t make it Thursday?
A repeat performance will be held Sunday, July 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the Algona Public Library.

Don't miss this powerful journey through Algona’s rich history.
