John Wiebe Celebration of Life

Hi everyone! We are hosting a celebration of life in honour of John Wiebe. This is a public invite for anyone who has had the privilege of knowing John. The celebration is on Saturday, July 26th, which also happens to be his birthday! He would’ve been 63 this year.

The celebration starts at 4pm, and is held at John and Tina’s residence, in the shop. People are welcome to come and go in any way that works for them, there is no definite time to be here as long as it’s after 4. Food will be served around 6pm.

There will be an open mic as well, for anyone who wants to share memories, thoughts and/or kind words about John. Drinks are ok to bring, and people are welcome to bring tents or campers if they wish to stay the night. We know there may be people travelling far to attend!

Please, if you have any cherished photos of John that you want to share, we are creating a slideshow to play at the celebration, along with John’s favourite music. You can send them to Tina or myself, thank you!
