Stop by for fun at the sensory activity fence, snacks for the kids, along with a nice coffee break for the adults. We may even have a simple craft, art, or music activity as the summer progresses. Come enjoy this free and fun activity!
About TLC Sensory Place: TLC Sensory Place is a multisensory play area that can be enjoyed by people of all ages but is especially engaging for young children and people with (diagnosed or possible) autism or sensory disorders. It is free and always open to everyone, much like a park, and it is located in the parking lot across from Trinity Lutheran Church (301 E. Chestnut). TLC Sensory Place is a very helpful resource for kids who receive occupational therapy at school, especially if those services pause over the summer, as visiting the play area can help them maintain the progress they made over the past year and experience better sensory regulation during variable summer schedules.
