You are invited to gather every other Wednesday, beginning August 13, for a Fiber & Story Gathering program.

The importance of ancestral wisdom is universal, although many of us have lost the practices and kinship connections that help us feel grounded in our own ancestral traditions.
Share elder βgrannyβ stories.
Join our community crochet circle. we will gather every other Wednesday to learn the art of making granny squares while sharing wisdom stories from our elders.
Create a community art project.
We invite you to add your granny square and an ancestor story to our community story afghan.
The cost of the program is admission to the site.
There is a $5 supply fee (crochet hook and yarn) if you need to purchase materials to participate in the community art project.
Call 936-858-3218 and talk with Christine if you want to purchase and bring your own supplies.
